JigSaw
Hi,
I was thinking of buying this Jigsaw for home use.

how do the cordless ones compare in the same price range?
Anyone know?
Also what is meant by Watts and volts (should i go for 110 or 240v?) as these numbers vary for the products?

Volts is the pushing power forcing the electricity round the circuit, UK mains is 230V as is the rest of Europe, (we used to be 240V to their 220V).
The more powerful the motor the more Watts it has.
Cordless stuff varies from 9V to 36V, the different voltages aren't compatible and different manufacturers stuff will not work together, ie: you can't put Bosch batteries in Hitachi tools.

Both 270w motors and all metal gearboxes so just the other features to choose from Makita are a good reliable brand and easy to get parts and spares for if needed.

You know who your father is? now i am surprised at that and not as surprised as your mum will be who had just narrowed it down to one particular football team including substitutes and coaching staff!
