It's probably the last thing on his mind, owing to the awful events his country is suffering; but has anyone else noticed Emperor Akihito's odd appearance?

You are ignoring the fact that the Japanese are alien robots, hence the weird fashions, big heads and no concern over radiation...

the newish adverts with the grinning idiot self-satisfied implausible Halifax employees you mean - has to be the least convincing adverts currently running on TV.
