Not sure if they do touchscreens but the logitech range of remotes are worth a look at.
Reason being is that they work using activities rather than macro programming. This is important as a) they a very easy to set up b) you simply hit bottons labeled "watch tv, listen to CD, watch DVD etc) and it knows which kit to turn on, and which to leave off.

I've got a couple of Harmony One's set up in different rooms. They work really well and are easy to set up provided your kit is already in their database. Avoid any of the cheaper Harmony units that aren't rechargeable - they eat batteries.

I used to own a Sony "Commander" to replace 8 remotes, it took me weeks to get it just so, and then the DVD player packed up so had to get a new one... and reprogram the "Commander".
Then a plasma opportunity arose, so the TV remote changed, another reprogram for the "Commander"... but I simply could not be ar$ed, some of the buttons would work, others you had to get the remote to learn the functions, and then on top of that I programmed macros.
Since then I now have 4 remotes, I'd like to get back to a universal one but the nightmares of years ago have put me off, I don't have time in my life to do that **** !! :-)
