Law and Order last night
I initially thought the fact the R8 does not come with a spare wheel/jack/brace was going to be part of the plot...
Then I realised they just hadn't done their homework...
Especially when the woman expert on site said how much she loved the car and then listed a load of specs...
(I suppose he could have been brained by the foam spray tin )

I thought the first trick they missed was when the florist where the first suspect (the guy in the cafe they were trying to find) had said that the guy wanted some wedding flowers because he "had been let down at the last minute by the company that had just gone bust and were supposed to supply them". So OK Mr Plod find who had gone bust that week and bingo, they would have the guy's name and address!
Good series though.

Another American cheapo "pap" series.
Little by way of production, scene changes by a musical tone and a black screen announcing where we now are........Good Grief, it's so childish and cheap it's awful.
Goes in the same pile as CSI, CSINY, CSI MIami, NCSI etc etc.
There ARE some clever ones out there, Monk and The Mentalist, for example, but those above are just pap.

Uk version is based on the US scripts/plots.
But seeing the US version has been going for 2 decades now (yikes I remember seeing it on my first visit the US waaay back in the early '90s), so the UK version can pick and chose the better plots.
Bearing in mind the dire quality of other programs on at the time during the various times I've been over there (Cosby show, Married with kids etc.) L&O was fairly good.
Inncidentally, thats how I started watching Buffy the vampire slayer and Angel - channel surfing in some random Holiday Inn between Nashville and Memphis.
