Thumbs up Speed Limits to Drop

Plans are afoot to cut the speed limits across all roads if the Middle East disruptions result in Oil shortages and Oil prices increasing massively.

Of course, this is to save fuel and can only be a good thing to allow the Oil to go around.

Will you do it for the nation? Will you act responsibly? Will you start now? Cut your speed and cut your consumption!

We're all in it together, I get 55mpg, let's see you lot try to get 30 and save the Planet!!

Monday to Friday I'm sensible and return about 30 mpg.
Then the weekend comes and a change of vehicle.....

So yes, I'll do my bit for most of the week

Sorry pete, I wanted to buy a diesel when i sold my impreza, instead I bought a 3 litre petrol, with a Turbo.

Mind you, it returned 37.6 mpg @ 70mph yesterday on the motorway - BMW Efficient Dynamics 4TW

I'm with Pete on this one. Sold my Sti PPP and bought a Leon FR diesel. 50+mpg on the motorway is fine for me.

It's your ammonia soaked pants and flatulence that's killing the planet.

The longer you OAP's live, the worse it's gonna get.

(that'll be thanks to the last Tory gubberments NHS input)
