Following on from the Middle East thread and what a seething mess it is, seems to me that it is pretty much always blokes in charge and doing their best at ***** waving and causing mayhem, ok we had Maggie Thatcher for a while but I am not including Geyser-Birds in this, say we put women in all the main positions of power in every country, not sock puppets for blokes but an actual female administration.

Just put normal, intelligent women (Sorry Scoobynet Wimmins ) in, not the usual politically ambitious women, my missus can intervene when the kids are fighting and mediate very well, cant imagine that Gadaffi is much different in temperament to a spoilt teenage boy so the same techniques would apply.

Ok, in the Middle East this would be difficult as women are rated somewhere in the pecking order between Chickens and Goats in terms of importance (and as sexual partners) but I reckon that blokes manage to hang onto power and cause all manner of agro, war and whatever, I think less Testosterone on the world stage could be a good thing as us males dont seem to get it right and history bears this out.
