I have it on good authority . She is selling a car and in her wisdom cancelled the insurance let some Asian fellows take it for a test drive and they haven't returned

Thieving bastids. Okay she may have rubbed people the wrong way on here but no one deserves to get their car knicked. Hopefully they will find the car with the thieves still in it, on fire .

 

I like a laugh as much as the next man but I can't see the funny side of that if its true. Unless the car blows up killing the people who stole it.

Also some very intimidating people out there, gang of 5 lads turn up demanding to drive the car after making the effort to turn up... When I sell a car these days I always make sure I have a mate with me if possible.

 

Guess it could have been the old after test drive, don't return the keys or something.
Or as said, can be intimidating when a group turns up.
Usually go with a mate when he sells his cars, big sod but don't take chances.

IF the entire story is true (and after the clown-watch thing, who knows?), then apart from being blindingly stupid/careless/unfortunate, very sad. At least it wasn't taken by force without anybody getting hurt.

Would not be unheard of. I insured my first scooby for a day before test driving it. Why should the seller lose their no claims for the prospective buyer stacking the car.
Did the same when selling my second, I drove til he was insured.

The bint was no more an attention seeker too than a lot of males on here. Granted, she over stepped the mark naming someone without definitive proof over the Clownwatch debacle, but to read how adult males here jump on the bandwagon of hate is very sad indeed.

I don't have a clue about what she did regarding clownwatch

when she did post on here majority of the posts was her dramatising things that are a normal day occurrence and seemed a tad on the attention seeking side.
