Hi all,

I am appealing to the power of Scoobynet

Does anyone know anything about a company called Eurotax-UK? They specialise in the reclaim of VAT for overseas businesses

They are based in Halifax and I have two addresses for them:

52 Manor Heath Road, Halifax, HX3 OBE or 19 Bull Green Halifax HX1 2RZ

Are any of you in Halifax, do you know these addresses? I need to know if they are still trading. The phone and fax are connected but never answered.

The strange thing is their website says they are Eurotax Ltd. yet that company are based in London and have never heard of them.

Any help would be appreciated. I have tried to glean as much info from the web as possible, but have so far drawn a blank.

Thanks in advance if anyone can help.

The first address is residential and appears to be where Alan Firth is living.

the second address is a high street address, not retail so probably their offices above.

Their company name is not valid, their website should disclose the actual company name by law.

Their domain name is registered anonymously so no luck there either.

The high street address is also linked to another financial services company that looks like it has gone bust, their latest details below:

Cheers, I had most of that, but not the last bit and that is interesting as the business relocated to the residential address a little while ago.

The domain name is registered in Hebden Bridge too I think.

Yeah it's all very sketchy. My whois lookup didn't pull the information about hebden bridge for some reason, I can see it now.. postservices.com - C gaunt is listed as a PC repair company. Funnily enough 19 Bull Green Halifax is a computer repair shop.. interesting..

Yes it doesnt seem to pull the whois through on some places.

Will try and see if this C.Gaunt character knows anything on the off chance.

Yes and the trouble is that Eurtoax Ltd (from the website) are a completely different London based company that know nothing about these people.
