12 year olds looking 24
Went to one of these large chinese buffet places with wife 2 kids (aged 5) and mother in law
Place was FULL of groups of girls who wife and I agreed couldn't have been more than 12 years old but dressed up like they were in their twenties.
Completely embarrassing.Parents, especially the mothers should be absolutely ashamed for even letting them out the house dressed like they were.Wasn't just a few of them, virtually all of them dressed up like nightclub girls
Yes I'm pretty old fashioned but what the hell happened to children staying children. It was a horror show...

If your 12 be 12 there is plenty of time to grow up :-) I blame the parent really thats why there are so many young girls getting pregnant or kids walking the streets causing mayhem.

This is a pretty wealthy part of the world buffet restaurant or not,not chavs... children of I'm guessing fairly well to do families
There was a thread on here about muslim men seeing white girls as easy meat..there was a nice asian family near us..indian not pakistani...not that that should matter..their family looked great...bloody girls round the restaurant were just so bad they must have been thinking OMG

I then dropped a hint to my mate asking what the deal is, as it was the first time I'd been in a Harvester for years. He leant back and had a look, he sighed with disillusionment and said under his breath......
"Pikeys"
It all clicked...the rest of their "family" were outside in their cars drinking pints brought from the bar by the ones who were eating inside - it was autumn, cold and raining.

I think it is a mistake to try to get children to behave as though they were older just to show off on the part of the parents.
I think children should be allowed to grow up maintaining their natural innocence and allowing them to develop at a normal pace.
Of course I realise that includes bringing them up to be aware of the dangers which can be present in modern life.

I can't stand buffets in anyform, its just cheap for cheapness sake - it reminds me too much of school dinners. If one goes out to eat, why not make an occasion of it instead of being cattle herded?
Especially Chinese buffets where I often cannot tell the difference between the reheated "slop" in the each bucket - in colours, taste or texture. Its just a sloppy mess of gooey sickly sauce, soggy veg and watery meat. And who knows how longs its been there for or when the 'bucket' was last cleaned out.
Ok if its cheap and you can't be arsed to wait, then you get what you pay for.
I have similar issues with Carverys; If I'm dining out, I want the food to come to me, not the other way round.
Yeah, I'm a bit of a snob...but the Cantonese down the road from me does a £10 set menu 3 course meal, thats freshly cooked and with a full waiter service, and rarely do I ever manage to finish the main courses. Never faulted it (ok, they could do with replacing the carpet, I guess ).
