Gutted, just read that Gary Moore has died

Saw him live a couple of years ago and wanted to go again.

And me, i can`t claim to being a follower of Gary Moore`s music but "Out in the fields" with Phil Lynott was a brilliant tune, it had a mixture of great guitar playing and a catchy rock tune.

I'm gutted too. Wasn't a fan of his blues stuff but his rock era was brilliant. Sad at only 58, apparantly dies in his sleep. He was never (IIRC) a druggie or alcoholic so would appear very tragic.

fine guitarist Gary Moore has been found dead in his hotel room in spain , Best known for his work with Thin Lizzie and great tunes likr Parissien Walkways .

He will be missed .

thoughts go to his family.

I wasn't the worlds biggest fan but there's no doubt he was an awesome guitar player much loved by many.
