So has anyone else heard about Planet X / Nibiru / The World is about to end?
A friend of mine has just spent the last WEEK searching for more information about "the end of the world" due to planet X.
Personally I cannot understand why so many people are taken in by what just has to be the world's most monumental cover up (if it were to be true)

Yeah, my mate is genuinely stressed about this whole thing. He was having none of it well I tried to tell him there is a whole world of media out there, and there is no chance of all the governments agreeing to hide this if it were true. But no, he is still running around in circles...lmao
I'll take him for a drink the night before its about to happen, then at least he can go out with a bang....lol

A couple I know were right into this - proper doomsday nuts, they were convinced that its all to end in 2012, but not by some world-smashing disaster, but due to civil disturbances, failure of the banking systems etc etc. They moved to the countryside as seemingly the cities will all be burned by rioting and looters, they also started growing veg and raising their own animals for food and to barter with others for goods, bought a diesel genny and a basic diesel car, and started stockpiling diesel fuel. They christened their van Nibiru.
They had to move house last year and I havent seen them since. I wonder how they are getting on?

I think that's the point I was trying to get across. Obviously this Planet X thing is a lot of b0ll0x, there is no way a planet 6 times the size of the Earth is every going to sneak up on us....but even if it did, there is nothing that we could do about it. Best just put your feet up and wait for it to happen.

What utter guff - so this planet is going to collide with earth? I thought planets go round and round stars? If so, why haven't they hit each other before? Its not like its a random asteroid.
Roughly a week before the supposed arrival of Planet X, Lieder appeared on KROQ radio in Los Angeles, and advised listeners to put their pets down in anticipation of the event. When asked if she had done so, she replied that she had, and that "The puppies are in a happy place." She also advised that "A dog makes a good meal".[9] After the 2003 date passed without incident, Lieder said that it was merely a "White Lie ... to fool the establishment,"[10] and said that to disclose the true date would give those in power enough time to declare martial law and trap people in cities during the shift, leading to their deaths.

All a load of b*llocks, riddled with inconsistencies and weasel words. In 1983 it was 50 billion miles away, in 1992 only 7 billion miles away, so it should have got here in the middle of 1995! According to NASA in 1992 it is 4-8 earth masses, but then they are talking about a brown dwarf larger than Jupiter (which is more than 300 earth masses).

ROTFL at this thread, we all know it is going to end in whenever...I forgot the date...If it was true then fuel prices would be sky high just to bleed the human race in their dying moments...oh...erm...ok maybe thats why people were shopping like it was the end of the world at Christmas?

The quote doesn't appear in NASA's press release archives, although the fertile minded conspiracy theorists will be delighted to see that the archive is not complete ("This archive is missing some press releases from 1990 through 1994, though the archive ostensibly links to those files. We are working to resolve the problem and apologize for the inconvenience."). In fact the archive seems to be missing anything from early October 1992 to the end of the year.

Oooh, conspiracy theorists love it when records are not complete. Gives them loads of ammunition. I'd day we can all have a good laugh at them in late 2012, however, they always have some reason why the world did not blow up this time, but next time they will be right....
