A McDonald's store has banned customers in tracksuits in an effort to stamp out bad behaviour.
The store in Leyland, Lancs is refusing to serve under-eighteens in sports gear after 7pm following a series of incidents.
One customer described how he had to go home and change into a suit and tie in order to get a couple of cheeseburgers.
Manager Rachel Hilliker said: ''Over the last few weeks we've experienced a lot of anti-social behaviour from groups of youths. It's almost gang-style fighting at the weekend.
''My staff have been threatened and been told they will be stabbed when they finish work.
''The local police are working with us at the moment and their advice is to take a zero tolerance approach.''
Scott Wilson says he was refused his meal because of his attire but managed to get served just 15 minutes later - when he returned in a suit and tie.
Mr Wilson, a joinery student at Preston College, said: ''I feel really upset about it and I just couldnâ t just let it lie.
''They are stereotyping all young people and it is not fair. They didnâ t make us feel welcome at all and we werenâ t even going to eat in, we were taking out.
''What really made me mad was when a lad in his 20s came in behind us wearing the exact same clothing and he got served straight away.
''We feel like we are being discriminated against and believe that even after a hard day's work we can not call in unless we have been home and changed into business clothes.''
Recalling the incident he added: ''I was just wearing a normal jacket with some joggers because I had come straight from college. Another friend was wearing tracksuit bottoms and the other was wearing jeans with pumps.
''We walked straight up to the counter because there was no one else in there and started trying to order.
''I asked for two cheeseburgers, fries and a drink but the woman behind the counter just said 'I' m not serving you' and we were asked to leave. We were completely confused. We just looked at each other. When we asked why, she said we looked like we had been causing trouble.''
Nigel Dunnington, who runs the burger bar said: ''We are absolutely sorry to Scott and I understand 100 per cent what he is saying.
''Unfortunately this lad has been caught in the middle of things when I have tried to do the right thing. He may well be an innocent victim, and there may well be others. Unfortunately, the smaller minorities with, in the very short term, be tarred with the same brush.''
''We are taking advice at the moment and the police have been brilliant with us. We are taking a zero tolerance approach for the short term.''

Well it is common sense:
A person who wears a track suit should be into health and fitness. So the LAST place they should go to is a Mcdonalds.
So banning them from there allows more seating space for the lard ***** with their elasticated trousers, as they are the ones who are more likely to spend more money at their restaurants.

He's implying that the General forum is populated by Chavs and other tracksuit wearing undesirables now that Imprezas are cheap. The more bourgeois Subaru owners (or former owners) are using NSR as a refuge against this low rent element.

What a load of Mc B0ll0cks....
So a certain group of tracksuit wearing kids are causing trouble and threatening staff..So the brilliant plan is to ban any under 18 yr who comes in wearing sports gear after 7pm.
