Best Business Energy Supplier?
I've been tasked with this mind numbing job this year: Contract is due to be renewed soon and I'm getting sick to the back teeth of all these "call backs" to get quotes. Why can't supliers give online rates upfront? Same with camparison sites that won't quote online (no doubt so they can use a pushy saleman to sell you a tarrif they get the most comission on).
Anyhoo, anyone have any pointers or typical rates?
We're currently on e.on for gas (running a workshop space heater, combi boiler and spraybooth) Last qtr was 4261kw/h at 2.76p and no standing charge (which seems ok)
Electric is npower, 3 phase for workshop equipment (compressor and lighting mainly), which last qtr was 7694kw/h at 14.83p (owch) and 33p day standing charge and 0.47p per kw/h "climate change" levy (gits )
Did get a quote for British gas on both which was good, but they blackballed us on a credit check, so now won't supply us (we've been operating as a Ltd business for well over 40years without ever going bump - compare that to all the 5yr start-ups )
