Diamond Dilema - which to choose?
Just looking on t'interweb for some diamond earings for the other half -
I would rather choose the stones and have them set but as I do have a budget to work to I can't decide whether to go for colour over clarity or the other way around for the diamonds.
but which would be preferable?
Cheers
Rob

Colour, then cut, then clarity. (IMHO)
The colour is the first thing you will notice. Then the cut, as the light sparks through the stone - the better the cut the more the stone will sparkle. Then lastly, mostly for value reasons, clarity.
Try and get something VS1, colour F and a very good cut. Or better of course.
I have used Blue Nile in the past, very good service and IMHO reasonable value too.
