Default PC gone mad

I have been following the comments by Andy Gray and his partner re questioning a female linesperson and her ability to assess whether she can make an accurate judgement of the offside law.
FFS football is not the place for women , nor is rugby or cricket or any other sport for that matter . OK maybe the high jump and pole jump , but that is for strictly perving reasons.
WHY can't they be like their mothers .
Cook , clean , sex object etc etc
Poor Andy could lose his job !

If you listen to these guys chatting they slate and castigate (lines)men, refs, players and managers all the time about their judgement and abilities.

They make silly comments about a female line judge and they are thrown to the lions - it is PC gone mad, it is bad news for football and also bad news for female officials in the game - who will now dare to challenge or comment on a decision made by a female lines-person??? -
It will hurt the game and females within the game who have a hard enough job as it is. It would have been better if she had told them where to go on live TV. It turns out she made the right call yet who will remember that about here in future...

I think they were wrong to make the comments, but they were not on air and I do not think they should lose their jobs over it. Take shows such as loose women etc they make derogatory comments about men on air all the time but no one bats an eyelid over that.

What I find most disturbing about this, is that KOT appears to watch 'Loose Women'.

Foorball pundits in sexism shocker... not really news given the Neanderthal nature of the game. We should be thankful they can string a coherent sentence together really!!!

It was said at the time that she was correct in her assessment of the player with regard to being offside.

No reason at all why she should not be perfectly satisfactory at the job.

The carping comments made by those two does not say much for their characters.

tbh while they were sexist comments, it wouldn't have made any difference, if she was old, they'd have griped about that etc etc

to me they have just been made to look like a pair of twits, perhaps they need to learn about the offside rule since she was right and they were wrong, her explaining it to them on live tv would be very funny

They shouldn't be sacked for the comments but what a great opportunity to get rid of the stale up his own **** Mr Gray, Keys is just the sky lap dog and will keep his job.

I would actually agree with his comments about Karen Brady having read the two pages afforded to her in Saturday's soaraway Sun, some of the worst sports "journalism" I have ever read, she must have written it herself as it was no where near coherent.

I see she is in todays paper gives her 2p's worth about the situation funny that considering she was involved in their comments, probably not the best person to comment on the issue and she proceeds to go right over the top imo.

Great Chief Exec, maybe, has she seen how poorly her football club is run ? but leave the journalism to the pro's you dont have a clue, as Keys rightly said "Do me a favour love".

Football is a ridiculous institution anyway, women generally stay away as its a load of overpaid fannies distracted, for a couple of hours from the business of crashing expensive cars, drinking chapagne, snorting coke and ******** hookers to kick a ball about.

Its an ok game but I cant see why everyone gets so f*cking tribal and religous about it, I can no more support a football team any more than I would get excited about my local supermarkets yearly results , they aren even guys from the local area any more, not even the country its just a game of who can buy the best players.

To be honest I tend to avoid rabid football supporters, they usually have nothing else to talk about and wear Nylon.

Disband the lot and start again, set a catchment radius for players, standard pay structure and let them get on with it.

Obviously Gray and his mate have been set up, conspiracy theories say that Gray is about to take legal action against the News Of The World over phone tapping and Murdock owns NOW and most of Sky, so it's the biting the hand that feeds type of thing and Murdock is warning him off.

At the end of the day she only got the linesman job (sorry, 4th official job) through positive discrimination, meaning people are in jobs from all cultural, ethnic and genders but weather the person is actually right for that job is questionable.

The right man for the job has been overlooked because women are under represented in football. Ability has nothing to do with selection.

Ron Atkinson was off air and he got sacked. Not sure how they can play this differently to be honest.

Not something they should have done at all. That woman how refs the snooker has done a great job and it is at least a bit different. good on her really.

Plus now Gray has gone they could replace him with a lass with big norks.

5t.

So Gray has now been sacked, what a complete over the top reaction from Sky. Better remove the picture in #19 just incase it offends someone.

ITV better take Loose Women off air just incase some men may get offended by their sexist remarks.

When will it all end, looks like this could be the end of any so called 'banter' between people just in case someone is offended.
