Thats Chuck Norris's hamster LOL.

My hamster was Harry Houdini in its previous life. No matter what kind of cage/rotastack you put him in; He'd find a way out!

I had one the same. I was woke up countless times by my mum screaming after going downstairs on a morning and finding it running across the floor or climbing the curtains.

It escaped once and was gone for months. Then one night wile my old man was watching the television, he heard a scratching sound coming from a corner of the room. He lifted the carpet and floorboards to find a rather skinny, dirty hamster.

It lived for quite a wile after than & continued to escape. Eventually we set a video camera up and left it recording every night for a week to find out how it was getting out.

On one side of the cage the bars on the roof were curved. Somehow the hamster managed to find out these bars were weaker here than the rest of the cage.

It managed to widen the gap with its paws a tiny little bit so it could squeeze its body through the enlarged gap.

Mine managed to open the door on his orginal cage, cage was bit small so it was replaced with a multi-room rotastak thing, which he popped out the food bowl (part of the cage), leaving a hole, which he squeezed through - lifting the entire cage and tipping it over.

After glueing that, he managed to get the roof off his dome part of the rotastak, so that was clamped down with elastic. Then he chewed through the food bowl.

Usually he would go missing for a few days, but managed a few weeks on the odd occasion, usually would find him in the kitchen or the lounge under the sofa. Although the once he manged get upstairs into a wardrobe LOL!
