It could take me a while!

Optimum build is 8 hours to sort parts and 30 hours assembly!

You have to ask the question, WHY? that thing must be massive and weigh a ton! What are you going to do with it once it is built?

GOLD LEADER: Lock X Spors in attack position

GOLD LEADER: Accelerate to attack speed

and then

GOLD LEADER: (over speaker) The exhaust post is...marked and locked in!

GOLD LEADER: Switch power to front deflector screens.

GOLD LEADER: How many guns do you think, Gold Five..

GOLD FIVE: (over speaker) I'd say about twenty guns. Some on the
surface, some on the towers.

epic stuff -- well done Trout

I have the star destroyer 10030, it took me the best part of five days to build. The worst part is you get a good way thought building it only ot find a x2 at the bottom of the page so you have to back to begining and start again.

I am so going to have to get some lego like this. I enjoyed it as a kid, an really want a crack at a long build time model.

This as a kid took me a couple of hours!

A treat as a kid was to get a simple model when my family went shopping in Nottingham, I'd build it 5 - 10 mins in the back of the car in the dark!

I've still got one of those at my mums house along with another 2-30 classic space models.

My little lad loves them!

With regards to Star Wars Lego, I've got a couple of grands worth, c/w boxes. I sometimes let the boy play with them...

There is one bit that is x8!!!!

The instruction book is bigger than A4 and is 314 pages, double sided.

That Star Destroyer is great - even bigger than the Falcon.

My dream now is to track down a Saturn V space set - I reckon that could be hundreds of dollars though!

Bloody hell, I didn't even know kits like that existed.
As someone said before though, once you've built it what do you do with it? You surely wouldn't break it to pieces again?!
