Anyone on here got one of these TV's.
Looks good but it's only a 50Hz set. Why would I want to spend more or look for a 100Hz one?
Anyone used techtronics.com ?
Thanks for any input.

I bought my DVD player from Techtronics and not had any problems. However, I have seen lots of 'complaints' about them on http://www.thedvdforums.com/.

I've got a 50hz set - I prefer it to 100hz. Go to a shop and try both back to back and see what you think.
IMHO these reems to be a lot of surround to the screen so makes it a relatively big box for the screen size - that said - looks good.
I've used Techtronics they seem OK - they did go through the usual expansion/lack of staff problem 6 months or so ago.....

Thanks guys.
I e-mailed them to get a quote for delivery to Switzerland and to check if it would work over here and they responded within 5 mins!
However, it looks like this model wont work with the East Europe (?) PAL system that we have here so I guess I'll have to keep on looking for something similar that is multi-region.
Afterall, I 'may' just come back to the UK one day - if they drop the price of petrol that is! ;-)
