I'm going down Wednesday to Sunday. Gotta a friend at uni there so will have a beer or two on Wednesday and then off to the shakedown on Thurs. Then on event pass two.
Last time of going though . Its just too expensive now, so Catalunya next October beckons instead .

Event pass 2 here too, also shakedown on Thursday, staying in the Llandovery area. For any of you lot with scanners I'll be getting the frequencies soon for all the top teams etc and will post them in the Motorsport forum.

Tickets are dispatched 2 weeks prior to the rally.
I got our tickets last year the day of the start!
& that was only by courier after I phoned them up!
Pathetic!
Not going this year as I have better things to do than be hearded round like sheep & having to pay a fortune for the 'priviledge'!
Roll on Catalunya/Deutschland/NZ 2003!

I'm off to the rally, I haven't managed to find anywhere to kip on the friday night yet either, pain in the ****, my mate is on the case though.
You can check on the wayahead website for ticket order progress, mine says that they are currently waiting for stock, what a load of b*llocks!
Ordered mine about 1 month ago.

whats with all this accommodation talk? The best place to be is parked up in the forest. You get to park closer to the stage, which means you get back to your car quicker to get to the next stage.

CharlieWhiskey, I do believe that. Sorry to hear your not coming this year, but on the positive side you'll leave more room for me.
Route 2 staying in Llandovery. I'll be the bloke smoking lots of **** under a brolly.

As me mate CW said - bugger that for a game of soldiers were off to Scotland instead
First time in nearly 20 years that I've missed the RAC (insert any other sponsers name / location etc if you wish but it is still the RAC to me!!) as I just don't want to be a part of this emasculated excuse for the great event that the RAC was. I don't have an axe to grind against Wales but we should at least have the event moved around a bit even into mid and north Wales!
Edited to add :-
PS Whats wrong with sleeping in your cars in the forest - all part of the fun!
