Pretty awesome.
Climbed a pylon and tried taking a pic of Schumacher testing at Maranello some yrs ago. Kept on getting fresh air shots on my wee compact till he kindly span in front of me, before spinning the car back round on the throttle.

Of course the F1 cars are impressive there, pro drivers in proper racing cars.
The first clip did them a favour there as well, looked like a track day and I'm sure there was even a Mini in there somewhere. Most people on trackdays just aren't that quick, they just enjoy it.

Stand looking at the maggots/becketts/chapel complex at Silverstone in the right spot and you can see fantastic rapid lateral movement of the F1 cars...

I was lucky enough to get to stand just behind the marshals post directly opposite that spot at the top end of the runway a couple of years before. They let me wait there for a couple of mins and I got some of the best photos I have ever taken.
It was awesome to see the direction change so close, after a few mins they very politely asked me to move on - then wandered down to the bridge on the hangar straight and managed to get a spot on the inside embankment where a lot of the chopper pilots were sitting. Went back the following year and could not get anywhere near either spots.

The best comparison are the tests Ferrari and Mercedes did with small road car, high performance road car and F1 car.
Wasnt this one I recalled but similar:

Very impressive videos. The F1 cars are a different kettle of fish alright.
On the F2010 game in the MacClaren I Ifind I have to lift fractionally going into the first part of the right
hander and when commencing the straight just after the left hand curve the car is doing 197 MPH.
On the sports racing cars in other driving games it can easily be done flat with an exit speed around 149 mph.
