every year there is a flurry of threads about diet and exercise, where are they all this year?
Has the big economic downturn stopped people buying food?
looks like I may have put on 7lbs over christmas I think it may be more from resting on the sofa than eating too much (although I may have the occasional one mince pie too many)
should get it shifted in a couple of weeks with a bit of walking around and plenty of water.

I too have put on weight, though still lost a stone overall since the summer, so that's OK. Like you say, once back at work, that'll go. Also I am in training for a mini triathlon so that'll help with weight loss. Still need to lose a stone I reckon.

I had to babysit my son's SBT for a whole night lately. For being a good dog, he behaved himself very well, but when the beast stood up and just stared at me while I was watching some forgettable rubbish on TV, his stare sent shivers up my arms After an hour of having him, I was so petrified of him that I ate nothing since 7PM that day to 5PM the next day. I took him for a 10 minute walk for about 6 times that night, just to distract him from his thought of kicking my head in. I didn't sleep all night for I kept thinking that he would kill me. I went on weighing scales the next day, after the dog had gone. To my no surprise, I had lost 3 lbs that night. So, I know what I need to do, to lose weight. Get Master Jaque the beast round my house. LOL
