Default where is the "I'm on a diet for 2011 for my new years resolution" thread?

every year there is a flurry of threads about diet and exercise, where are they all this year?

Has the big economic downturn stopped people buying food?

looks like I may have put on 7lbs over christmas I think it may be more from resting on the sofa than eating too much (although I may have the occasional one mince pie too many)

should get it shifted in a couple of weeks with a bit of walking around and plenty of water.

I too have put on weight, though still lost a stone overall since the summer, so that's OK. Like you say, once back at work, that'll go. Also I am in training for a mini triathlon so that'll help with weight loss. Still need to lose a stone I reckon.

Most people get excited on the NY and make such promises to themselves, but they can't keep to them, or they get disappointed for they don't see quick results to their efforts. Maybe, that's why they don't bother making such threads? Anyway, 7lb is **** all to lose. You can do it.

I had to babysit my son's SBT for a whole night lately. For being a good dog, he behaved himself very well, but when the beast stood up and just stared at me while I was watching some forgettable rubbish on TV, his stare sent shivers up my arms After an hour of having him, I was so petrified of him that I ate nothing since 7PM that day to 5PM the next day. I took him for a 10 minute walk for about 6 times that night, just to distract him from his thought of kicking my head in. I didn't sleep all night for I kept thinking that he would kill me. I went on weighing scales the next day, after the dog had gone. To my no surprise, I had lost 3 lbs that night. So, I know what I need to do, to lose weight. Get Master Jaque the beast round my house. LOL

I used to go to a gym like that once, then I decided to pay the extra and move to a place that had showers
