Default And this is 2011

Just in case anyone had forgotten that we are entering hard times...

Time to knuckle down and prepare for hard-times...

More cuts to follow throughout the year in the public sector too.

LOL have you living in a cave for the last 3 years.

We are in hard times and have been for the best part of 3 years.

2011 will actually be better in the long run I think. Yes the cuts etc. are going to hurt, but that is what the government has decided is needed (not sure I entirely agree with them), but we have to cut the debt somehow.

We can either spend the time moaning about it or get on with it and I shall be doing the latter.

Unfortunately the cuts are about to hit the public sector hard, and with the pay freeze and increased cost of living it is going to get worse not better!

At the same time the private sector is getting pay-rises and healthy bonuses.

LOL, I am self employed and I have had to take a huge pay cut thanks.

Where do the public sector martyrs get the idea that all is rosy in the private sector. We were hit 3 years before the public sector even noticed there was a recession

Took my Xantia for an MoT yesterday. When I got there, the gate was chained and three "heavies" stood outide. Local "car supermarket."

Company gone into admin. They refused to let me in so I could give them money.

Went to tax the lad's car later and found that the car company had been nin earlier and taxed "a few" cars........less than an hour later they are bust.

Anyone think the owners' tax will be valid?

jon: you need to wake up and smell the coffee. This "public sector vs private sector" nonsense is a scam dreamt up by the government and perpetrated by the media to deflect criticism from the government and the REAL thieves, the bankers.

It's scarily close to what the ***** did with the Jews.........someone to hate.

Meanwhile, EVERYONE bar the banks and the MP's is being screwed

And why not. If a company is successful than why not reward its employees.

The public sector is so inefficient and wasteful they do not deserve to be paid any bonuses.

Lets face it noboby at the lower end of either side of the divide is having a great time & things are not likely to improve any time soon
Didn't vote at the last election as in my opinion there was no one to vote for

I have got that sinking feeling that they have not even started yet! It is dificult to find the interest we owe on the money which has been borrowed let alone the debt itself.

We shall begin to realise the real mess that the last lot left eventually I imagine. Not looking forward to it.
