Default Expres: It's the next ice age!

FFS

WHEN are the media going to stop?

We've had all the bullsh*t pedalled about global warming, then climate change, which has cost us all dear.

Today, the Express has a huge double page about how this is the start of the next ice age, and Britain, as we know it, won't survive, it will be anarchy by 2025.

FFS, this is the SAME shyte they were pedalling in the mid 70's

WHEN are they going to accept that it's just the sun's cycles and we are, at present in one of it's lowest?

Saw a MetOffice woman on TV tonight.

They are STILL insisting that we've just had two of the hottest summers on record..........yes, IN THE UK!

Ahh, the "Diana Express"

Now nicknamed the "Polar Express"

No doubt in future to be nicknamed the "Middleton Express"

Complete farce of a newspaper, with even less integrity than the Daily Mail (only just though).

The Met Office talk **** and yet no one pulls them up on it.

They cannot forecast the weather for the next 12 hours let alone a week and then lie to us about the weather we have had... what is the point of them?

Yes, but that's just weather, doesn't prove global warming is happening or there is a change in climate.

Funny how the green agenda has only become an issue since they worked out how to tax us on it.

'Hottest summers on record' are invariably based on one single day that got a bit on the hot side. Britain has been an ice cube for weeks, but come next summer they'll be pedalling more climate doom and gloom. I remember 76 being a bit hot, then that winter was very cold with massive snow falls, and then 77 was bloody hot too. The snow back then was over 3' deep, not the light dusting most of the UK had this year. What we are seeing seems to be a return to proper seasonal weather patterns, compared to a period of mild winters recently. No matter what we do, eventually the Sun will cook us all until it finally disintegrates after swallowing us up.

Which according to popular belief will be next Thursday.

As an individual most of us have a relative grip on reality. On mass, we become reduced to the lowest IQ of said mass.

Express and the Mail are very similar, basically everything is going to ratsh1t, usually because of foreigners, and you will die soon anyway, with a hint of cobblers about the royal family "Gawd Bless em".

I wish the papers would stop using 'Global Warming' in their sensationalist headlines - it completely devalues the topic, and causes people to just dismiss a real problem.

It's all scaremongering as far as I'm concerned.

There isn't a problem, just a planet doing its stuff under massive influence from its nearby star. If you think we stand a chance against the force of either then you're more delusional than you sound ! This planet has been both colder than now, and hotter, and will wax and wane between the two until the Sun eventually burns us to a crisp. Sure, deforestation isn't a good idea, and reducing pollution and waste will help things, but quite how taxing everybody eases the situation I don't know. Plenty of people will get rich I don't doubt, whilst plenty more get poorer. Don't expect big business and politics to suffer under the changes though, just the average working man.
