Good educational toys for 3-5 year olds

Are we talking learning through play? Or just fun toys that can build up 'skills'
What about a mobigo?
I'm a fan of good old hands on stuff too, Lego, mechano etc.
Leapfrog do some good stuff. My daughter has this book with a pen thing, a book on one side, and games on the other.
You just have to be careful toake sure certain electronic things use phonic sounds/letters.

Orchard Games do some good stuff, it's sold in Toys R Us. We've got a few of their games - things like the bus stop game which helps with learning adding and subtracting, and a telling the time game. Our daughter normally wins too.... ;-)
