+1 for the Pogues - everytime it comes on I have to stop what I'm doing and listen .... think it's the best song for conjuring up an image of a cheesy christmas, naff presents, snow outside and lots of food
You've got to love it!!
Reckon it's become too polished these days - bring back the old ones!!

OS, your kitty looks very cool with Xmas hat on.
Her eyes tell me that she is a very intelligent and considerate cat.
This dense one below has started festivities here by bringing our Christmas tree down for 3rd time now
Advert wise, M&S festive advert is quite eye-catching due to Peter Kay's ability to stretch his little leg above his head

Thanks for appreciating my cuddly kitty, Lesley and OS.
Now, for the hopeless romantic that I am I would like to pay tribute to some ancient and memorable Christmas times with this ancient song. It was super-hittest over Christmas in mid 90s. I know that there have been many comedy versions available of this song, but I'd rather have it festive with this regular version. I am pleased to say that the version has no image of them 4 thugs in white hoodies, but SadSongs4You have put lyrics in, in case you want to sing along.

On a lighter note, I think this is quite festive in these modern times:

Just goes to show that those were the days.
