She at least is planning to help the locals and leave some medical knowledge behind which will benefit the people there. I would really suggest she was voted for rather than some twit on an ego satisfying adventure holliday.

I'm a man of principle and can't be easily swayed, but there's appears to be a Sophie as well, so if Laura and Sophie could post up much better close ups I'd find it much easier to decide who to give one to.
