Default You tube will not work on t mobile I phone any ideas.
I have just got a iphone 4 with the lastest firmware on with t mobile and everything works fine apart from you tube.

If i connect with Wifi it works fine but when i try when i am out I get a error message saying wifi or mobile data needed.

Any ideas

That's because you're in a crap signl area. You have to have at least a 3G signal for YouTube mate. I get the same and I'm with O2.

It is usually as simple as not being in a 3G area. Have you got 3G showing at the top when you try YouTube out and about? If not, and you just see a circle, then that'll be your answer.

I don't live in a 3G area and the same happens. I can however still use the internet fine but YouTube won't play ball.

I have to say the reliance on 3G sucks, the iPad is the same. Without a near perfect signal it just sulks.
