Default Utility warehouse?

Does anyone use these for gas/electric/broadband/phone supply?

Had one of the reps round this evening and despite being full of sales ****e it does on the face of it sound as though some decent savings can be made, particularly if you take the option of the discount card, although you do have to spend to save.

A quick go with the calculator certainly showed a saving on my gas/electric but not really with the phone/broadband.

Mixed reviews around the web (although some are obviously not Kosher), and i'm generally a bit suspicious about these things. It's all a bit pyramidy but there is a lot of big retailers signed into the discount scheme who i doubt would be involved if it's a rip off - Debenhams, M&S etc.

My Uncle has it and is happy with it, and he's a penny pinching so-and-so.

Tend to find whatever is the best deal through uSwitch or similar and go with that. Usually get some decent cashback through Quidco too. Whenever the contract comes to an end I'll switch to get more cashback etc.

Have gas/elec/phone and broadband with them and have found the price and the service to be pretty much spot on.

Plus I get free landline calls to most countries in the world which is pretty useful as I have a fair few contacts abroad.
