classic Subaru Si

I'm having some myther with a neighbour at the minute, and need to catch the little F**ker in the act. Basically I live in a apartment block of 6 and need to sort out a camera for the car park (night vision??) and I also want to put something outside my internal front door, but don't want it to be noticed (was thinking of some sort of spy camera in place of the spy hole thingy?) Problem is, I know nothing about this sort of stuff, what I need etc.. Can these be run off a laptop or do I need some sort of monitor/ dvd recorder etc??? Also, can anyone point me in the right direction to get the gear?? Don't want to spend silly money, but it needs to be half decent so you can at least work out what's going on!
