Default Wrap up warm Severe Winter weather is on its way

Not yet Forecast,in the Media, but be warned, there is a polar low coming down over the Uk. At the moment,it's looking to be a Re-run of last years but alot earlier. Scotland and Northern England will have heavy snow starting Tuesday onwards..
Don't say i didn't warn you.

Slow news day: Check
Winter is comming: Check
Cold front on its way: Check

= worse winter ever.

Repeat this every year. Blame climate change, and the say how bad it is for the poor polar bears because they can't get out to the shops.

There's one on every bag of Glacier mints.

I 'm pretty sure that's where the climate change activists got their idea from:

equates to this

I remember the coldest Winter in Burton which I think was 1978-79. The temperature dropped to -16. Snow was incredible and everything, just everything was white.

As is typical - they've now built houses on the best sledging slopes in the area...

And whatever happened to making those ice slides in the playground? And I remember huge icicles hanging outside our back door! And lovely frosty ferny patternes on the inside of the bedroom windows, which the net curtains used to freeze to!

agreed - snow forecast for the start of December. Just looking on Metcheck for my area, starting around Nov 30th.....

Usually a bit more accurate than the Met Office/BBC (stick-your-hand-out-of-the-window method)....

Yeah.

Robbing b*****ds ! They buy gas in bulk through the summer when the price is low, then don't buy it when the price is high but tell us they have to put up their charges due to the high prices. I have vowed NEVER to deal with this bunch of useless, immoral, lying tossers ever again. They could offer me free gas & elec and I still wouldn't entertain them as they'd be sure to screw it up and end up sending bailiffs in to claim my kidneys.

Forecast for Leeds shows snow by Friday √

Well if it don't happen,i blame the Muslims...Darn weather machine..

Trust me on this..Been watching the patterns,as my friend is an Weather reader. This Omega block is something that has not happened this early in the year. It's something we would expect in early Feb.
The Media, seem to be playing this down, let's see what there saying towards the end of the week.Southern England can expect a bit of the white stuff too.

Btw im back in Blighty till New Year..St Louis..is probably going to be warmer..

I'm back in the country next week. May have to get a warmer coat as the forecast is -1 low and I have work to do on my car (don't have a garage).
