As per title. I used to like it, but once we went cable, stopped using it.

How come I can't get it doiwn cable?
And will it CONTINUE to exist when digital TV comes to this area?

I thought it ended in January?? I usedto love it, especially the sport pages. And Bamboozle

Im unsure as to why you dont get it but im with virgin media & still get it?

Sport pages were brilliant..
THE most exciting way to watch football. It updates every 30 seconds, and SOMETIMES the score changes. You can never tell if it's going to change or not, really tense, it is.

There is 2 systems, digital and analogue.

ITV, CH4 & Ch5s teletext services shut down a wile ago. Dont even think they have digital any more. Blamed the internet for it not being needed any more.

BBC still have services on analogue & digital, but I think their analogue system will be closing soon.

we uesed to spend hours flicking through the pages news sport finance then noticed it had updaTED AND STARTED AGAIN IT WAS INFECTIOUS oops knocked the caps lock

A very limited Teletext service remains on ITV in the form of selling holidays. All the other stuff went pop at the start of the year IIRC.

Game Central was another good one. Brilliant for Game reviews and cheats

I also remember Adventures of Turner The Worm Also the xmas advent calender whe I was a kid

Shame it's no more
