From my old layout - St David's Park

Sadly it was never completed as I took the slot track down to build this

http://www.modelrailforum.com/forums...log&blogid=77&

OO gauge railway - Harford Junction.

Too cold in the loft for sex games so all the paraphenelia is hidden in the wardrobe of the spare room. I guarantee we have more than anyone on here - cept maybe J4CKO

EDIT - now thats embarrassing, I was ribbing the wrong SNet member!

Assuming your on about model railways rather than kinky sex model railways can be very rewarding. It can also be incredibly frustrating if you want to build a full on layout with all the trimmings.

Its not like scalextric where everything is pretty much off the shelf (unless you go DIY track like in the top pic) and the electrics for a railway make slot car tracks look like playskool in complexity.

If you look at my layout photos, that 4 mainlines are going to be controlled via computer. The trains leave the fiddleyard (the bit with lots of sidings) stop at the station, stop on scene somewhere then back into the fiddle into the first available siding. All this needs sensors for the trains, sensors for the points, and it all needs to work together. Its a minefield!

I've not done a lot on my layout recently as I've lost interest a little - its cost me about the same as a clean average mileage MY00 Impreza (2.5K+)

You could always do what the poles next door to us did with their loft.

If you combine the sex room and growroom, you could have weed on one side and lettuce on the other!?.

Haven't done anything for months now. Can't during the summer as its too hot. Had real problems with insulation dust and not being able to get rid of it. The air is also very dry up there and its made me ill a couple of times (like a really bad cold you get from air conditioning)

Been up there tonight and already got the itchy feeling in the back of my throat. It was never as bad as it is now when I had the slot track up there so not sure whats gone on. I've insulated the rafters with non-itch insulation and put 3mm board over the insulation to try and make it more room-like but its not ideal.

With a heavy heart, I'm not sure if I'm going to continue with it
