android 2.2 upgrade for the galaxy s?

Has anybody up graded there samsung galaxy s to the android 2.2 if so how did you go about it fella?

You do it using Samsung kies on your pc but my pc wont let me upgrade mine

I have tryed conecting to kies and no luck with it my phone will not connect to it
