why would you want to be able to play Flash? And on of all things, a phone? HTML5 is the way ahead, so anyone developing for Flash needs to get up to date.Flash is the past, history. Sorry, I think this app is pointless and won't be getting it!

I love all of the iPhone haters, they make me smile. Flash is history, people go on about how poor the iPhone is because it doesn't play flash - there is no phone that plays flash.
There are some that claim they do, but any independent review reveals they are all very poor at it.
Very interesting article from MeFeedia last week revealed some interesting statistics.
"Media search site MeFeedia today released the results of a new survey showing that 54% of H.264-encoded video on the Internet is currently available in HTML5 format, double the share of just five months ago. The rapid increase has been driven by the explosion in the mobile industry, led in part by Apple's iPhone and its lack of support for Adobe's Flash platform.
- 54% of web video is now available for playback in HTML5. Double in 5 months.
- Flash remains the dominant player within desktop environments.
- Mobile is driving HTML5 video adoption. HTML5 compatible (H.264 mostly) video is the most common format for mobiles (inc. iPhone, iPad and Android).
- Publishers & platforms now offer iframe embeds, allowing them to switch players dynamically, depending on the access device.
MeFeedia's survey was based on its index of video content from over 33,000 publishers including media sites such as Hulu, CBS, and ABC, as well as hosting sites such as YouTube and Vimeo"

Notice how half of the posts on here are from **** takers or plain old haters. Now look at the Blackberry thread, no one cares.
What is it about iPhones and Apple that stirs up the hatred? Inferiority complex?

I-love the i-phone, but i-hate you and your i-deology.
Personally I don't care what people think about my choice of a phone, oh please don't say mean things

For the record, I bet Ant would expect me to be sarcastic on his thread, so I did
Dear oh dear lol

Snazy, as my previous post points out and latterly your post, jsb1 was clearly not aware of the tongue in cheek status you claim though. I also doubt that anything like tongue in cheek exists between 2 people who don't like each other. Tongue in cheek is then known as snide sarcasm surely and elevates itself to adding to bad blood.
Just a thought though because as a proper grown up I'm struggling to understand you pair of bum bandits. ****, maybe that's it!! You want to be goosed by Jack and he wants to be the giver and you can't agree!
I think you might be right, he secretly wants me to pound his pooper! That's why he pops up on any thread he thinks I might read, posts Snidy comments then pretends he can't see my posts. It's like a schoolgirl crush.
Go back to your shrink big boy and tell him it's not working.

Both of you go out and buy a Galaxy Tab and be done with it.
A week too late
,
lets see how it develops between now & my next upgrade
Have to say at the moment, android is doing ok.
Seems strange though, Adobe were ready & worked hard to get a version
of flash ready that complied with apples requirements, only for it to be
shut out at the last moment.
Then a whole browser comes along that does just that?
Very strange
Lets hope it works out

Why would I want to turn it off, it is used widely on the web and therefore I would like to just surf the web as normal without feeling the need to take some ill informed stance against a piece of technology just because the manufacturer of my phone is involved in a petty playground style argument wth its creators and to make matters even more moronic tries to dress it up as a technology issue.
