TD Waterhouse scam: Beware
I just got this in my inbox:
Hello Dear Customer,
You have received a refund of 68.15 GBP from Virgin Media on 11/10/2010.
You haven't updated your personal information for 6 months. Please log in to your
TD Waterhouse account to re-active your account and complete the transaction:

Now a bad link, but it's a scam to get your TDwaterhouse login details.
Beware of other emails knocking around that the link does work on.

Oh dear.... If you hover the mouse over the supposed link you'll see that the actual link is to some German site. Nowt to do with TD Whoever.
Oh, and could you edit your post to NOT include the actual link you got in an email? Just in case some plonker clicks it from here ....

Interesting. TD Waterhouse is the brokerage side of TD bank in Canada (TD = Toronto Dominion). They seem to have private banking, but most, including myself, would use a normal TD bank account.
