I just got this in my inbox:

You have received a refund of 68.15 GBP from Virgin Media on 11/10/2010.

You haven't updated your personal information for 6 months. Please log in to your
TD Waterhouse account to re-active your account and complete the transaction:

Now a bad link, but it's a scam to get your TDwaterhouse login details.
Beware of other emails knocking around that the link does work on.

Interesting. TD Waterhouse is the brokerage side of TD bank in Canada (TD = Toronto Dominion). They seem to have private banking, but most, including myself, would use a normal TD bank account.

The most obvious giveaway with this type of email is that they are usually addressed to "user" or "account holder" rather than using your name or username.

Anyone falling for these types of spam email, should not be allowed on the internet anyway.
