Its the sort of thing you wake up screaming in the night about. If it is genuine he did well to land safely and was also very lucky to have the chance to do so.
I once saw a bloke attempt a landing on a street at night which he confused with the runway at Gander. That was in a VC10! Luckily his error was pointed out to him-pretty positively! Apparently that has happened before! Same direction as the runway.
