x factor tonight
Easy to see how they make a bob or 2
Build up the hype about the little singer with the strange style,
and place the segment where she finds out its win or loose as the very last
thing, thus ensuring the audience stay watching to the end.
Looks like its COD or GOW for the foreseeable future lol

I don't like her, she really really annoys me (so far). But,

Seems like she shouldn't be there..

Our Cheryl's choices seemed a bit ridiculous especially as two of her girl finalists didn't even manage to sing properly. She was always going to pick Cher whatever though - Cher who looks like a Wii Mii version of Cheryl Cole.
Poor Gamu though, by far the best singer in the group and looked a bit shocked that she wasn't through. My wife was mortified at the injustice!! Not sure if Katie Waissel's "choking" was a bit of a contrivance for sympathy as she has "choked" twice now. I barely watch it.

I think she is more a Gwen Stefani lookalike - I am surprised she got through - Gamu had the much better voice.
I thought there were better girl finalists BUT I think almost of all them chose poor songs for their final audition!
And here is the thing. Cheryl's girls - 5 black, 1 mixed and 2 white. Who goes through...
Pretty much same with the boys...

Cher's weird facial expressions are mildly entertaining, trouble is all she does is ******* rap, very poorly as well. All that ****e at "judges rented homes or conveniently located hotels" about her tonsils having white stuff on them and she couldn't "sing" well I've yet to hear her flaming sing a note!
And that other "Daughter of Jimmy Hill" I'm surprised she can remember her name as she's utterly unable to remember song lyrics. And all that "this songs really emotional" - well don't ******* sing it then!
Cheryl Cole - what a talentless bint, Will.i.am (stupid ******* name) was right all along.

So of all the thousands of bands that entered, Simon Cowell only picked one for the Live shows (FLYD). The other two he created himself by dropping them from the singles groups and subsequently taking them on as bands.
The moral of this story must be: you're just wasting your time entering the X-Factor if you're in a band.
Also the Weasel woman didn't deserve to be there in place of Gamu. I think Cheryl decided to stick with Cher to get some of her dieting tips!

I was a bit gutted about Paige and Gamu, they were just natural singers.
It was as if it comes natural without all the prancing and irritating facial features.
The show this year is full of oddly dressed, eccentric and needy people.
I can't stand the "this is my my big break, it's my life and I don't know what I will do if I lose" attitude.
It's as if the x factor is the new Jim will fix it, and they all expect to be the next big thing.
It's a shame really, as the x factor are not looking for talent. Look at who they have got rid of?!!
They are keeping, the youn, voulnerable, weak ones. The ones they can manipulate to be what they want them to be.

It's not about who can sing best though is it. It's about creating controversy during the shows to keep people watching and ending up with the person Cowell thinks will sell most. That's what he considers the X factor. Not the person with the best voice. Plenty of great singers out there.
It's a formula that works for Cowell inc.

They try to mix it up, I just don't think it's fair.
The x factor doesn't require you to be a good singer, if your good looking, can sing a little bit you are in. If they know their whole life depends on the competition they will turn them into puppets. Simon is the puppet master, and we know he pulls ALL the strings.

I think the put together bands probably work well because they can all sing having entered the comp individually rather than a a bunch of mates who may be carrying some dead weight. Agree it is good family entertainment and lots of talent goes by the wayside in favour of headlines. Remember Simon's u turn last year on Jedward when he realised the publicity they were generating despite their lack of singing talent.

At least Simon didn't put any of the 'comedy' groups through!
No one's mentioned how fantastic Sinitta looked either.....
Don't forget there's a BIG TWIST on next weeks live show.... I'm guessing each judge has an extra act, Gamu back in, The mincing House Husband, Camp group back in and the big black guy.
Have to agree with the other comments that the blonde girl 'chocked' on purpose. Had a smile when Cheryl was telling the two girls who'd been on it before how fantastic they were, how improved they were etc etc but "I can't take you with me for the journey"...
We enjoy watching it for it's entertainment value rather than expecting to see an amazing talent emerge.

You're right. Gamu will of course be back, along with Marlon and Diva Fever. Still won't help Louis though!

Well I'll tell you.......
It's good entertainment, not meant to be taken too seriously as we all know bands/individuals who are a match for X Factor entrants.
I like it because I have an interest in music especially those trying to make it. I am sure much of it is "fixed" but it's there for entertainment value and Cowell is a master at this.
I think this year's bunch are pretty mediocre, especially the groups, but every few years a star is born, as they say. Leona Lewis now world class IMHO.
That's easy to understand isn't it?

Yeah I was, quite what that woman was thinking I do not know. Ok dress like that in Simon's bedroom but not for 10+million people to see.... Her adopted kids must be so proud!
