Default What's a good warranty company?

Have just got a quote for £417 for a years' warranty on a BMW 120i Sport we've just bought (54 plate 44k). Ouch!!! Earlier quick checks had shown about £260 before we bought the car. This quote was with Warranty Direct who seemto have upped their game and the policy may now be worth the paper it is written on!

Can anyone recommend anyone else as I am SO wary and suspicious of these polices. I've already seen some that exclude 'wear and tear' so that means 90% of claims would get rejected!

Cheers

D

+1

They make money by paying out less than they take in premiums.

Same as betting on a horse, you might be lucky, but odds are you won't.

Just been reading some small print on Warranty Direct and they dont cover oil leaks unless its an engine out jobbie - just have bought ramps with me then for the purchase!!!

Couple of guys on the BMW forum suggest main stealers are better for this - hadnt even thought of the b's!!!
