After visiting an "Claims for You" injury specialist the woman went on to say:

"I thought I was going to die, by people that you trust.

"You can't imagine it. They're the people that you trust, so who do you trust after that?

"You don't treat somebody - even if you've found them guilty of the worst possible thing you can possibly imagine - you don't put them in a situation where they have to be in hospital twice in one day, do you?"

She was probably being abusive and making life difficult when being charged.

Saying that, there was no need for the treatment handed out.

His colleague at the custody desk just seems to have sat back and allowed him to work away - saying that, maybe Niche was playing up that day causing him to run out of patience.

Regardless of her being difficult, the punishment handed out by the officer is shocking. All the same he is not the face of todays police. And im pretty sure most officers will be glad to see the back of him.

I remember the days when the crims feared the custody sgt. They were often quite hard blokes, I know a few who were ex marines, you did not give them any crap or you would get a thick ear.

In recent years, the cops fear the custody sgt, in fact over the last 2 years I would say the vast majority have been replaced with more "trained" staff who treat the crims like vips and treat the arresting officer like something on their shoe.

The cop was late 30s, ex-military, and built like a brick s**t-house. To use as much force as he did on someone likely only half his body-weight was unnecessary, to put it mildly.

i'm pretty sure if the camera wasn't in the cell she would have "stumbled" into the cell causing the injuries to herself

That is a very good question Les.
I would have thought a few months would suffice, especially in view of the fact the guy is still getting paid.
We are probably paying into the c*nts pension fund as well.

Good. The man was a bully, nothing more. Now he'll know what it's like to be on the other side of the transaction.
astraboy.

Result - that is a tough sentence and I cannot imagine anything tougher than being a custody sergeant on the inside. Nightmare!
