some aussie 19 yr old girl ran in the back off her today with minor scuffs and marks on her back bumper the aussie girl admitted full responsibility she was in a brand new golf hire car the girl says she will pay for any damage so daughter gets a quote off 100 quid i said to my daughter you could have claimed whiplash she said no dosnt it give you some faith that your daughters been brought up well and is not thinking compensation but i said if it was you who had done it things would have been different anyway she has paid the 100 quid
Last year when a van drove into the side of me, the guy wanted to pay out of his own pocket for the damage to my car and the van because if he claimed thru his company apparently he would have lost his job. I was happy enough with this but the company wouldn't let him incase I decided to claim down the line for whiplash etc. Never found out if he lost his job, a very decent and honest fella, even if he did wreck my motor.
One of the boys I used to work with is a compete **** who has claimed whiplash numerous times, infact he claimed against his own brother in law ffs and there wasn't anything wrong with him. Needless to say no one ever offers him a lift.
the "Unread 1" was working the last time I had a PM... it's like sending someone a letter then emailing them to tell them you've posted a letter and then calling them up on their landline to say there's an email telling them that you've sent a letter

Really refreshing to see such an honest person as your daughter. You deserve credit too of course.
