Default Foxes

I was a little sceptical of the recent incidents of them venturing into peoples houses etc.

But I just visited my local chicken farm, which basically backs onto my house and this little fella showed up.

Didn't seem to show any fear, when I came to come home it was laying in the road in-front of my car. Took a few blasts of the horn before it would move.

The pointy thing in the bottom left of that pic was a kennel, which the rather large German Sheppard guard dog lives in.

Instead of being scared away by the dog barking it decided to come closer.

I have lived here 27 year and have never seen one before. I know you would think chicken farm and foxes go together rather well. But the egg farmer hadn't seen one either.

They are cheeky fellows and are getting less afraid of poking their noses into where they shouldn't. I have seen one trotting down the footpath in Hampton Wick totally unconcerned about anyone else near him. Just like a pet dog.
