Default good films lately at the pictures.

been to quite a few this month as all of a sudden there seems to be a fair few decent ones worth watching.
BEST YET imo:
Inception, Toy Story 3D (imax, highly recommended), A team

Going to see:
Karate kid, The Expendables

One to avoid:
The last airbender,- knock off nigel gave me this, honestly, dont bother

Saw the A-Team a weel or so ago and agree it is great. Inception, The Expendables, Karate Kid and Knight & Day are all on my 'to-watch' list. Kids have seen Toy Story 3D already so no drive to go and see that.

The A Team is difinately ine to watch.

As for any others I am a bit behind with my movie watching of late. So I will have to watch this space and see what's worth it myself.

It's probably old, but I watched a film last year called dead girl.

WEIRD!

If you have seen it, you will understand.

I quite enjoyed Knight and Day in a non-thinking kind of way.

well worth watching, ok its no award winner, but for 90 mins of action, good 1 liners, and nostalgiac comparison fun you will enjoy it. Quote of the film i thought was, "are they trying to shoot down that drone?" "No, they are trying to fly a tank"

Sorry, but the A-Team is pretty damn poor. Best advice is if you are going to go and see it, don't expect too much and then you may have some chance of being able to watch it without wanting your money back.

Its not bad enough to walk out of, but....hmm...not good either.

That was a funny bit.

I agree though, was funny enough and had enough action to keep me entertained.

Fair enough, it's no original but it was good and worth watching.

Ha Ha!

It thought it was only my parents that still referred to the cinema as 'The Pictures!'

And why not? That was always the name for it. Even the "Saturday Morning Pictures" for the children.

I gather that most of the films are "Talkies" now!

Sat through Eclipse a couple of weeks ago with a fit bird sporting artificial funbags - the place reeked of pre-pubescent teenage girls that seemed unable to shut the **** up.... I would recommend that you all avoid it like the plague unless there's a good chance of porking some fit bird afterwards......

A Team, Toy Story, etc, etc.... what the **** are you all smoking?

Must be honest, I have no desire to watch the A Team or Toy Story, but I loved Avatar and Clash of the Titans.
I have a Sam Worthington thing going on at the mo'

Inception is brilliant even with its hole filled storyline.

Toy Story 3 is great although the 3d isn't anything to write home about. Daughter enjoyed it.

I watched Shutter Island the other day which is good - 7.

Moon - 7
9 - 8
Pandorum - 8
The Crazies - 7
Solomon Kane - 7
Day Breakers - 6
The Road - 6
The Book of Eli - 8
Surrogates - 6
