Default How to find out a companies annual results for free needed?

Hi,
Im after trying to find out the annual reports of a limited company-its only a small company so cant go on company website etc as altho its a limited company it only has 2 shareholders.
The websites i have tried want to charge me about £18 i think it was to view the accounts.
Anyone know where i can view them for free-dont want all the details just the basic profit/loss gross and net etc will do?
Its a english company as well if that helps.

Many thanks

Worth checking the companies house website - don't think they charge anything like that much.

I sued a company about ten years ago

I needed the home addresses of all the Directors and company secretary

got all the necessary details online from companies house website -- charge was £3.00 iirc

they send you a link to a PDF download

Yup, a pound a pop at the Companies House WebCHeck service - but you need to know which documents you want to access (download as a PDF) because there is no preview facility.

just looking at site now, found company ok but i was looking at which document i need to view and when i clicked on what details are in this report it says -

"Current Appointments Report contains general company register information, details of previous names recorded over 20 years, key filing dates, company status details, company officers (excluding business occupation) and recent filing history."

this isn't what i need all i want is what profit, gross and net or loss it made in last year, not the info above like key filing dates etc.

So a bit lost now to where to look for info.

AA is the document you need to see on CH website, but if it's a really small company then it will have taken advantage of the small company exemption which basically allows them to post abbreviated accounts that don't include a P&L

Just been back on site and looking under AA it says - TOTAL EXEMPTION SMALL-does this mean that it wont include profit/loss?

yep - only guide is retained profits on the balance in reserves but fairly meaningless as that can be boogered about with by declaring dividends big enough to balance out any retained profit. Still it's only a quid or so - so why don't you get it and email me a copy and I'll give you my view (I'm in corporate finance).
