Ever have one of those days
I was woken up at 3 am this morning to the sound of my car alarm going off, apparently it has decided to randomly go off when you least expect it. Then after work I was called in to the office to be told I am being laid off in 3 weeks. Things could not get any worse I thought until driving home the gearbox goes on the gf's car

Cheer up mate. Life has a way of testing you.
I thought I would save £50 and flush the coolant on my pajero. Simple job, drained it, replaced thermostat, but somehow managed to blow the headgasket when I re-fuild it. So, saving £50, has now cost me £500.
However, on the same day, walking around pi55ed off and fed up with what IVe done, my partner discovered she was pregnant :-) So, am the happiest man about. So, you've got to have the bad times, to experience the good times :-)

and Yes btw, i am on a course, at great expense and paid for by myself - part of my retraining for a new career.
Sat in the last session of the day, heart goes haywire and i thought i was going to be a goner, for those that do not understand i have a heart problem - not my own doing. Ambulance to pick me up and take me to hospital as well.
Just got back from hospital with the consultant unsure of what is wrong or why.
I may not be able to continue the course and it is my birthday on Friday - i hope i make it 'till then
