How do you go about paying for something that's 0.3p a pair?

I robbed an old person at the cash-point, needed my crack fix and had change for a 4pk of stella and the diy bits.

TBH i would have paid a pound each for the clips without a thought, the chap infront of me in the checkout had a shed load of them and i heard him price check them just to make sure and yes 0.03p a pair so i got a load, great for the kids makeshift tents and diy and if i used them once only it would still be a bargain. cheaper than clothes pegs!

Question

So remind me again what the price is?

"0.3p a pair!" which is about a "third of a pee" (three hundred and thirty three pairs per pound)
or
"£0.03 pence a pair!" which is zero pounds and three pee (thirty pairs per pound)
or
"0.03p a pair" which is a thirtieth of a pee per pair (three thousand three hundred and thirty three pairs per pound)

If it is the latter, whatever you do - don't go through the self-service counter or you will be there all day!

There's no excuse for getting bought and brought the wrong way round though and it seems like 50% of the population do.

I have never, ever heard anyone say out loud that they "brought" something at the shops today for example.

or perhaps you could get out more and check the whole or is it hole UK population to firm up your spurious 50% claim

Why do'nt you go and by the clamps while they are still in stock!

I used my observations of the spelling prowess of the Scoobynet community, which we all know is an excellent representation of the general population Although lack of women could be an issue

Spelling mistakes in general dont even register with me, but when it comes to bought and brought

This guy definitely brought himself a new toy today
