Barking dogs - Is there anything more annoying?
Our neighbour, the most objectionable bloke you could ever have the misfortune of meeting, has 3 dogs.
This morning, he must have gone out early. The bloody dogs barked non stop from 7am.
Obviously no one can approach him as he is awful, but there must be something can be done.
My dog is a barker, but we keep him in at weekends so as not to disturb folks. Saying that, mine barks if someone gets too close to the house, not just for the sake of it.
These 3 dogs are doing my head in. Any suggestions, please

I can't offer a suggestion to the problem, but can answer your question. No there's not many things in this world more annoying than listening to dogs barking.

Drives me mad too, thankfully it's pretty good round here for things like that ( drowned out by sirens, lorries and planes lol)
But I would not dream of letting my dogs sit around barking all day.

It was dreadful this morning. I love dogs but honestly I could have cheerfully shot the 3 of them

Only thing more annoying is neighbours constantly stealing my parking space or leaving what they think is enough room for a car to park but in actual fact isn't big enough park a Sinclair C5 let alone a 3dr hatch.

Try having a parrot that won't shut up squawking,i like peace in the morning when at home i not one for cruelty to animals,but i tell you i have come close to shooting the little ******..

Been having this problem for weeks aswell, got a neighbour who puts her dog out every morning at 7am and leaves it there all day. The thing never stops barking, you try to approach the stroppy cow and you get verbal back.
Various neighbours have made phonecalls to the council over a month ago and we are still waiting for them to turn up.

I was going to suggest an official complaint to the Council Lee. There was one bloke I seem to remember who was done for his noisy cockerel when it crowed at dawn.
Trouble is, if he is that nasty, he may try to get back at you. Even though I like all animals too, I would find that sort of thing well over the top.

He has even turned a stable yard tea room, into a flat and moved someone in. All without planning permission. The Council knows about it and do nothing. Cowards.
Wonder if they would kick off if I turned my double garage into a flat
Not seen the dogs this afternoon, so he must have got wind we were well annoyed.

There are only 3 other houses.

Everyone thinks he is a joke, except the authorities, who like I said are scared of him. We have talked about taking the Council to the Ombudsman for their abysmal service.The dogs today, might have just tipped us over the edge to do that

Dogs barking non stop, yep it's annoying.
Just like a door that is banging in a breeze, you can't be arsed to move and sort it out, but it still does your bloody head in!

Sounds a bit like my neighbour. Hasn't had a job for the 11 years I have lived here, getting every benefit under the sun and fixes cars in the street to top up his benefits. He has a huge shed/workshop about 3 metres away from my lounge window full of every tool you could imagine and comes out every morning and puts his radio on full blast and then leaves it on sometimes until 11pm. He welds when the kids are playing in our garden and leaves tools and jacks etc all over the pavement meaning the kids have to go in the road to get past.
Oh and his dogs also bark most of the day also.
Reported them to the council many times but they are all scared of him. Its nearly 9.30 now on Sunday evening and I can hear the bass from his radio rumbling louder than my t.v !
