Just wait until they crawl between the layers on your TFT screen and die right in the middle!!!

If you are lucky and catch 'em alive, you can coax them to follow your mouse off the screen - but if you fail, that's yer laptop/screen/telly knackered

Been there, as annoying as hell.

IN spain, until we put up fly netting we couldn't have the lights on with the windows open otherwise the house would fill up with the things.

Anyhoo, will be daddy long leg/crane fly season soon - annother pointless and annoying creature, at least they are easier to catch torture and kill

Did you ever hear the story about the student who was doing a PhD on daddy-longlegs?

His tutor asked him what he had found out, and he replied, "They HEAR through their legs!".

The tutor asked if he could prove it, so he took one out of the cage, and told it to "Jump" at which, it did.

He then pulled all it's legs off and again, told it to "jump" at which the poor beast just lay there

"See," said the student, "now it can't hear me!"

Looking at them, they are so tiny, you can barely see legs, yet they itch so much.
WHY do they itch like that?

We used to be plagued with them in Canada. Never did find any defence against them-sorry for all the irritation,I well know what it is like.
