Whoops!
I saw the BBC link and assumed it was this squid story==> http://news.bbc.co.uk/earth/hi/earth...00/8792008.stm
Might put my comment in post #2 into context

At a restaurant a while back the wife ordered onion rings. She'd polished off half the plate before the waitress came out to apologise but she'd been given calamari by mistake.

We once had a co pilot who was trying to be all smooth when passing position reports to the Greek air traffic and when being passed to each different section. When he called them up he was trying to say Good Day in Greek and he kept saying Calamari to them. He should have been saying Kalameri!
When they were leaving Greek airspace the ground controller said " And a very good squid to you"

Sorry if I bored you. Co pilots always get a bit of stick on a crew so you have to imagine the rest deliberately letting him carry on with his mistake and then their reaction to what the controller said. All crew members can hear the R/t. All part of life for a co pilot!

I suspect the poster was referring to the fact that the octopus was able to predict the result!
