Facebook - career fail ?
Dunx was away last week, it was horrible, a "Full English" every morning...
The sun shone all week, I had to go MTB'ing, surfing and then walking round various parts of the North Yorks Moors.
So imagine his surprise, when on his return he spies an e-mail from "above"...
Warning all staff about being "indiscrete" on Facebook.
Apparently on the previous Friday a male member of staff added...
"Thank god it's Friday and I'm off out to suck c*ck till it bleeds"
Bear in mind that it is an educational establishment where many of the incumbents are present on Facebook, and like nothing more than a good nosey !
So what do you think ?
Career Fail, or a quicky promotion ?

We have to make the public aware were we work as part of the social networking guidelines .. so if I were to post something like
"My boss is a tit" I would be fired .. Clearly everyone's boss is a tit, although I got an excellent appraisal yesterday ..
Quite a few people have been .. "let go" due to posts and updates.. I myself have been warned for arguing with people on a forum .. a forum that I made no connection to work on .. and was actually just snapping back at someone ..

Somebody from this forum tried to get me in trouble with previous employers, including emailing various Nissan Motors UK staff, telling them i was building cars while smacked up on drugs, apparently from my own email address, i only found out because some of them bounced back to my email account
When i took over the running of the current business, they tried the same
When it comes to facebook and such, i am reasonably careful, and if i put up something "bad" to get a laugh from my mates, i usually delete the thing after a day or two, just in case
From what i have been told "they" actively search for bad stuff all the time, some of them have been trying to add my mate on facebook, and he was like "can YOU IMAGINE WHAT THEY WOULD SEE "

As homophobic as it sounds I'd be unhappy to learn that my child was being taught by a chap that sucks c*ck. Sorry but thats how I would feel.
I thought you worked in education and not the church?
Pics or it didn't happen.

agreed, too many skeletons come out of the closet. You add X, X then finds out who you are with and contacts Y, X and Y exchange words, Y asks why you have X as a friend, Y leaves you and X teases you, Y's brother is also your friend and see's all this and threatens that him and B are gonna knock your bollox in and all whilst your mother finds out how much coke you shovelled in your snout the previous weekend. All because you just wanted to be friends with everyone.
