As posted on FB by a German mate of mine

Come on England, a repeat of the 2001 scoreline would do just fine

I forgot that when I was instructing at the Tornado conversion school we were working with Germans and Italians who were part of the tri national manufacturing industries who built the machine of course.
We got on very well with them and the German's favourite programme was "Hallo Hallo" They thought it was a hoot and when we arrived at work in the mornings we all gave each other the clenched fist salute saying "Clop" Those who remember the programme will remember that one! The Italians were a laugh a minute too. I used to get rung up about RAF Angling and the Italians have a totally different meaning for the word "Fish".
